Norah Kennedy Willow Worker, a success story

Since it’s launch back in April 09, Norah Kennedy Willow Worker has been a real hit with all of Norah’s customers. The web site’s traffic has increased steadily over the last couple of months, averaging around 100 hits per day. That may sound impressive at first, but this isn’t a key factor we have focused on. The key factor for us has been the amount of successful conversions Norah’s website has generated. When myself and Norah first sat down to discuss the requirements for her website, the key purpose of Norah’s website was for it to generate customers, so that’s exactly what we’ve done.
When you take into account the amount of unique visitors per week out of the 700 or so hits the website generates, we have calculated a conversion rate of of around 7%. So that means 7% of unique visitors who have visited Norah’s website have now enrolled onto one of the willow working courses she offers, or better still forced the need for new courses to be introduced.
A typical figure of a successful conversion rate for on-line retailers nowadays is around 1-2% with top figures for market leading businesses reaching at best 8%.
To reach 7% so early is a fantastic result which both myself and Norah are very proud of.
